Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA)

New to Rooster Hill Farms is our CSA-egg program. 

If you're new to the concept of Community Supported Agriculture, you can read a lot more about it at Local Harvest.  This organization is the leader in the industry.

Here's how the Rooster Hill Farms CSA-egg program works.  Consumers purchase an annual subscription for eggs at the rate their family consumes eggs.  Then, Rooster Hill Farms delivers ultra-fresh eggs to a Central Distribution Point (CDP) every week at a specified time. 

Most often the CDP is at the home of one of the subscription members in your neighborhood.  It's easy and convenient for both Rooster Hill Farms and for the consumers. 

In order to make the arrangement economical we require a minimum of 20 dozen eggs per CDP.  If you are interested, speak with your friends, neighbors and co-workers to see if their is enough interest to establish a CDP in your neighborhood.

Subscription Prices

Rooster Hill Farms has been selling eggs to local grocery stores for nearly four years.  The stores purchase our eggs at wholesale price and then sell them to customers (like you) for $4.00 or more per dozen. 

Now you can purchase ultra-fresh eggs directly from the farm.  Determine the number of eggs your family consumes each week and subscribe for that number of “shares” for your family.  Subscriptions are set on a Three-month, six-month or annual “season”.
